NSF book discussion groups are for young adults and anyone who wants to take a deep dive into spiritual disciplines. This spring we will look specifically at how our society deforms us through different practices, and then we’ll explore how the Christian tradition gives us practices that transform us. This study is for Christians who are discerning how their faith relates to their daily lives. It’s also for people exploring the Christian faith, whether new believers, seekers or skeptics.
In short, this cohort explores how we can put Romans 12:1-2 into practice:
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
