WOMEN’S MINISTRY LEADERSHIP POSITION

JOB DESCRIPTION

Part Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

This part-time employee will serve women at North Shore Fellowship through relationships, oversight, coordination, and instruction, in connection with the pastors and other ministries of NSF. Our goal is to make disciples and be disciples, especially by engagement in worship, Word, & community (Ephesians 4:11-16, 20-24) that make us more like Jesus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Relationships and Instruction (building the body)
    1. Actively build relationships with the women of NSF and visiting those in need of encouragement and connection (older women, young moms, visitors, etc)
    2. Teaching and training in large group contexts
    3. One-on-one or small group discipleship
  2. Fellowship (connecting the body)
    1. Create opportunities for women to meet together in fellowship
    2. Connect women to other women for mutual support and encouragement
  3. Women’s Bible Studies (strengthening the body)
    1. Plan and oversee Bible studies and assist in instructing the body
    2. Evaluate curriculum for Bible studies
  4. Equipping and Recruiting Leaders and Servants (helping others become builders)
    1. Recruit current and emerging women’s leaders in the church
    2. Empower and facilitate women’s participation in the life of the church in areas such as service, teaching, group leadership, hospitality, prayer, and visitation
    3. Support the pastors and other teams (deacons, care teams, NSF pray-ers, etc) in the broad care of women at NSF
  5. Budgeting
    1. Manage a budget for women’s ministry events and Bible studies
    2. Track expenses and report special needs or anomalies
