One of the biggest questions we face as we grow older is whether or not we have chosen great loves.
Mid-life crisis is nothing more than realizing our hopes have been stuck on limited dreams and shallow loves that won’t generate ageless joy and eternal perspective. Is there a way to love more deeply? Can we imprint a legacy of love in the lives of our friends, spouse, children, parents, coworkers, churches, and cities?
Come and learn from God’s Word and God’s sons who have the scars and relationships that show us what a life of great loves looks like. The focus is on fellowship and exploring together the great loves that are offered in the Gospel of the King of Love. And we would love to hear your story of learning to pursue great loves.
Friday, September 20 – Sunday, September 22, 2019
We will be joining four other churches for main sessions, but we’ll rent cabins for NSF men (and guests of NSF folks). Old guys may get a bed. Younger adventurers can sleep on an air mattress or the floor. Guys can even crash on the porches for the sake of the nighttime beauty. Early birds can arrive Thursday night and find great golf Friday morning. The group will be reasonably small as space is limited. We will ask folks to coordinate to drive there and back together and provide and prepare meals and drinks.
$155 to cover lodging, snacks, and registration.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be at cabins; be ready to throw in and help cook or clean!
Friday and Saturday afternoons are scheduled as FREE TIME: read and rest, hike, mountain bike, golf, or ride the Nantahala. Saturday night we will watch Tennessee at Florida or Georgia at somebody!
Each cabin will have one session Friday and one Saturday morning. The large group schedule is below. Friday and Saturday nights we will enjoy great worship and main sessions together in a barn at the bottom of the mountain.
Large Group Sessions:
Friday Night Session 1 After Dinner
Saturday Morning Session 2 After Breakfast
Saturday Morning Session 3 After Break
Saturday Night Session 4
