COVID 19

Worship offerings, how to RSVP, and community health and safety practices.

12/20 Update: The Church Staff is aware of Governor Lee’s most recent Executive Order aimed at limiting indoor “social” gatherings of 10 people or less. The document goes on to clarify that it does not consider worship services to be “social” gatherings. Therefore, we will continue to implement the best safety practices of both the CDC and the Governor’s office as we gather for worship, including offering our services online.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

We are offering worship gatherings at a limited capacity. We ask that you RSVP each week for the service you plan to attend. This RSVP is also how we will reach you if we need to notify you about anything regarding the service.

RSVP as a household. If you have been in a “bubble” with other households, and you want to sit together you can RSVP as a group on our form. Just check with the other household to make sure you don’t RSVP twice. If you see the message “form entry limit reached” that means the service has reached capacity. RSVP links will be available by Thursday each week for the upcoming Sunday.

Livestream will happen during the 9:30 a.m. service starting 12/20. If you want to attend an in-person service indoors, please RSVP for the 9:30 service.

Indoor Worship

Seating: We ask that you sit 6ft apart from other households, and there is a maximum capacity of 8 adults per pew. (The pews are marked accordingly for appropriate distancing).

Worship: At this time we know that it greatly increases the risk if we sing indoors without masks, so we are ask that everyone ages 3+ wear a mask at all times. Our bibles and hymnals have also been removed to allow for frequent cleaning of the Sanctuary & pews. You are welcome to bring your own bible, or follow along with the bulletin on your phone / tablet. We will post the link the bulletin by Friday of each week.

Masks: Masks are required by those ages 3 and up in the building at all times. Please put your mask on before entering the building, as this is a vital way we care for the most vulnerable in our community at this time. If you forget or don’t have a mask, we have them on hand for you.

Outdoor Worship

Seating: We ask that you sit 6ft apart from other households. There are yellow lines in the parking lot that will serve as a guide. Please place your chairs / blanket behind one of these lines.

Weather: As it gets cooler, we are still offering outdoor worship as often as we are able. When weather does not allow due to cold or rain, and we need to move worship inside, we will notify you via text before the service begins. In the case that we move worship indoors where we ask that you wear a mask at all times, and continue to keep 6 ft distance from other households (pews are marked for appropriate distancing).

Masks: Masks are optional at our outdoor worship services. However, if we move indoors due to rain / cold we will follow the indoor health and safety practices and ask that everyone put a mask on before entering. We have them available if you need one.
As we continue to learn more about COVID-19 and the situation changes in our community our plans will adapt accordingly.
