Bible Reading Helps for Kids

Hey NSF Families!

We continue to pray for each of you as an odd holiday season ends and the continued unknowns and struggles of the last year continue.
We also want to continue supporting you as parents. To this end, we have a new family worship guide for the current sermon series on Romans. The layout is a little different than the I Samuel guide so be sure to read the introduction. (We are in Week 2 this week.)

Also, I came across a 20-day and 60-day reading plan for older elementary children that was put out by Crossway. I thought it might be a helpful resources if you’re looking for ways to encourage your child in the daily reading of God’s Word.

And for the little ones, I wanted to share a new book from The Good Book Company, The God Contest: The True Story of Elijah, Jesus and the Greatest Victory by Carl Laferton. This book brings to life the story of Elijah when he challenges the prophets of Baal, and also leaves you in awe of how God really revealed His power in the life and death of Jesus.

Hope you find these resources encouraging!
