Mission at NSF
Because we have the hope that Jesus will one day make all things new, we believe he calls his people now to renew all things spiritually, socially, and culturally. We can participate in the renewal of all things in our community and by serving church plants far away.
Because you are created in the image of God, you are designed to flourish in your family, neighborhood, vocation, and even your recreation! If you have found life together in Christ, he has already called you into mission right where you are! If you are looking for an organization in which to serve, here are some groups with which we are partnering:
Across Chattanooga : Choices, Bethany Christian Services, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Human/Sex Trafficking with Second Life, Launch Chattanooga, Student Venture Howard High School, College Hill Courts Clinic, Battle Academy, Annual Pancake Breakfast at Normal Park Museum Magnet School, Hill City Neighborhood Association, Northside Neighborhood House, OnPoint, and Young Life.
We also have an adoption fund to help members with the financial cost of adoption. NSF Adoption Fund.
- St. Roch Church (New Orleans, LA)
- MTW Refugee Services (Clarkston, GA) - There are over 60 languages spoken in this small southern town where 1 person out of every 3 is an immigrant/refugee. NSF is beginning to partner with churches and ministries in this city to live out the gospel before the nations without ever leaving our borders.
Our church needs to learn from and help fuel church planting movements from New Orleans to East Asia. We are partnering, resourcing, and learning from these initiatives:
Our 3 NSF Missionaries:
Jarrett & Mary Carole Hall (Monterrey, Mexico)
Joel Swanson (Ukraine)
The “G” Family: We also have a young family serving in East Asia. Due to security issues, we cannot post a picture or their name.
